Caps for a Cause

By Camryn Brigham

Recently, Tiger Broadcast did a package on cancer survivor Carson Brooks. His sister Madelyn Brooks, and LSHS sophomore, announced her and her family were collecting hats for them to give to Children’s Mercy Hospital, on Carson’s anniversary of being 5 years cancer free. On November 27th the entire Brooks family brought on the 103 caps they had collected to the hospital for the children who had lost hair due to cancer treatments. The Brooks family would like to thank everyone who helped them with Carson’s Caps for Cancer, and those who have supported Carson and the rest of the Brooks family.
